Hemoglobinopathy

A disorder or disease caused by or associated with the presence of abnormal hemoglobins in the blood, sickle cell disease, hemoglobin C, D, E, H, or I disorders. Occasionally, combinations of abnormal hemoglobins are seen in hemoglobinopathies.
